Welcome to Vitamin Sea & Co. Resin Art Classes!

Classes are released on a Monthly Basis. They are First Come First Serve and often Sell out. Private Classes available on request.  We offer a variety of classes including: Charcuterie boards, trinket dishes, jewelry, Sip & Small Veuve Wall Art, Coasters, Surfboards, and more. Class availability/offerings may vary.

Private Classes Available. For parties of 1-3 Private Class is a minimum flat fee of $500 (upcharges for certain classes may apply pending what we make in class). For private parties of 4 people or more is $145 per person. 

Resin Class Gift Vouchers also available for purchase for future dates! Perfect for gifts, birthdays, date nights, friends night out, learning a new craft, or the gift for someone that has everything! 

Ages: 16 yr + recommended. Ability to listen to instructions and follow safety instructions is important. We will be working with a heat gun in class that reaches high temperatures.

Provided: Supplies; Complimentary wine (21+), water, non alcoholic beverages, and light bites provided. 

BYOB and snacks are welcome if preferred. If you have any dietary restrictions/allergies please email us ahead of time so we can accommodate as best as we can! Artist & Instructor Kirstin is a Registered Dietitian and very familiar with dietary needs.

Class Size is limited. Class will last approximately 2 hours; Come alone or with your friends it will be a blast!

What to Expect: 

Class starts off with some mingling, cocktails, and snacks while artist, Kirstin, gives a brief history on her experience, background, and an introduction on resin. During this workshop Kirstin, will walk you through the steps involved in creating a stunning ocean resin art piece.  All materials are included in the cost of the workshop. Choose your design and wave colors upon arrival. 

No prior art experience is needed!

Workshop FAQ:

-Where is the class hosted? Vitamin Sea & Co. 337 Thames St Unit 15 Newport, RI [inside the Perry Mill Building next to the wave statue]

-Where do I park? There is a paid parking lot in the back of the building, price varies, but is between $10-20. There is first come first serve paid Parking on Thames Street. If you don't mind a 15-20 minute walk there is free parking down by Kings Park. 

-Can children attend the art workshop too? This workshop is most appropriate for ages 16+.

- Can I take my piece home the same day? No. Unfortunately resin takes 24 hours to dry, and up to 48-72 hrs to cure. It will need to be cured and sanded by artist; please allow two days post class for pickup. If you are not local we also have the option to ship for additional fee available (usually about $10 to ship)  

-When do doors open? Doors open 10 minutes prior to scheduled class time. 

-Can I attend if I am pregnant or allergic to resin? No, even though these materials are VOC free, we ask that you do not take a resin workshop if you are pregnant or allergic to resin. 

-Can I come and just watch? No, we ask that each person has their own ticket as seating and space is limited.
